Wow! Its been about five years since we have contributed to this blog. In that time we've added two more kids to our family, returned to Niger for a couple of visits, and had a few more adventures along the way.

In 2021,  we are continuing this blog as we return with our family to Galmi Hospital. We plan to be in Niger for several months and hope to share our journey with you on this blog. You may also sign up for e-mail updates- the link is in the toolbar at the top of the blog.

The archives cover our journey to Niger with short forays into Burundi, Italy, Greece, Nigeria and Kenya during the three years following Tab's graduation from surgical residency.  The adventures, struggles, and successes were beyond our wildest imagination. We hope you enjoy reading about them!
