Well, we were quite happy that Luke was able to get his tooth filled. Until last night during dinner, a very soft taco/rice dinner, Luke reached his tongue back and the brand-new filling was gone! :( It lasted less than 24 hours and we are back to where we started. We aren't sure what to do now. Does he go back to the same dentist? Do we leave the tooth
as is and hope its ok for the next six weeks? Do we try a different Nigerian dentist? Or, do we rummage through the dental equipment here to try to find material to fix it ourselves? Maybe.
We are certainly trying very hard to not damage any more teeth...and thus I was a bit dismayed to find this as I was eating some delicious Nigerian ground nuts today:
