Time is flying! We have one more week in North Carolina before we are back on the road visiting folks and eventually making our way back to Washington.  Luke has been learning a lot about language...creating new sounds using parts of his throat that he didn't know existed and using new words like "fricatives."  And, hopefully, learning lots of good tools to make Hausa learning more of a success. Three months is not long enough to learn a language, but that is how much time we'll have so we're going to do our best.  While he's been in class, I've been trying to study for oral boards. In reality, I've been applying for our visas, filling out paperwork, and working on our packing list. Maybe this week I'll get some good study time in because November 14th is only getting closer. Yikes.
