Its almost over...five days of being the only surgeon. It has been busy. I wouldn't have gotten any sleep if I didn't have residents to take care of the inevitable middle-of-the-night lacerations, fractures, and ER admissions. Thankful for that.
I have lots of stories and pictures, but they'll have to wait until I have more time. I already have three exploratory laparotomies scheduled for today so I can't write now. Instead, here are a couple of pictures from last week.
