Last Tuesday we moved out of our Place. Finally. It was only a few days late, but who is counting.
This is our finished place.
This is my buddy that came to say goodbye.
We made it to Chelan for the fourth of July. Tab's parents have offered to store some stuff for us while we are gone. So, we spent most of the week packing and sorting. We did spend some time with family though.
Cowboy breakfast at the ranch is always an awesome way to start the day.
Later, we played croquet. However what we call croque is more like mini golf with croquet mallets and balls. The obstacles can be really unique. Here, I dented my truck's door with a croquet ball that was supposed to go underneath however it mysteriously leaped into the side of my truck.
In the back of the truck you can see the plywood base we built to help store stuff better on our long road trip . It allowed us to put our blow up mattress in the back. Last night, the 9th of July, Tab and I slept on it. It work out just fine. However, we were in a WalMart Parking lot.
On Sunday the 8th we had the opportunity to speak to Little Stone Church in Chelan, about our trip to Africa. It was great to talk to everyone and answer all of their questions. The support that we have received from family and friends been great and we appreciate everyone's prayers and well wishes.
Yesterday morning we left Chelan and drove for hours until we couldn't anymore. We cross Washington, Idaho and most of Montana. This morning we got up and crossed Wyoming and stopped near Denver. It was about 18 hours of driving. We talked, listened to music, Sermons, and some podcasts from the global health missions conference. It has been a great drive, the USA is so beautiful. Tomorrow We are gonna go tubing and camping with my father and step mother near Golden Colorado. It will be fun.
