There and back again.

So there are some statistics that were left out of that last blog. This journey lasted over four months, 11,000 miles, 21 states, and that doesn't include the thousands of miles we were in other people's cars. Here's a pretty rough map of where we drove, circles means we spent the night or stayed for a while. Some places we stayed more than once.

The main concentration of our driving was in the last three weeks.Initially we didn't plan on doing this much driving, but that is how it all worked out, and it was actually well worth it. It is pretty incredible the number of people we saw and all the places we went. We had an incredible time visiting those we rarely see, and getting to know so many new friends. 

With that journey complete all I can think of now is the next epic journey we will undertake. Our journey to Africa. God was blessing us mightily during this past journey. He was with us in all of our comings and goings. He taught us lessons and kept us safe. We are looking forward to what he will teach us and lead us through on our journey to Africa. That journey, is two years, and about a billion more miles, no big deal.
