Hello Africa!

We made it! After a 2 hour delay in Seattle, the rest of our flight went smoothly. Only 50% of our bags (3) made it all the way. Apparently this happens frequently and the rest should come tomorrow. So far, we have most of our kitchen stuff, Luke's clothing, doctoring stuff, and other sundries. We are missing our mosquito repellant and net...thankfully the guest house has nets and bug spray and our neighbors lent us a mosquito repellant plug-in thingy. :) There are quite a few of the buggers around here, but they don't seem as aggressive as Washington mosquitos. No bites yet. It was 91 degrees when we arrived and sunny. Now it has cooled down quite a bit and we are comfortable resting with the ceiling fan on and windows open. We are very excited to finally be here...seems almost like a dream. :) God has been faithful in our journey to get here and we are looking forward to getting oriented and exploring a bit more tomorrow!
