We have been in the big city for a few days for our organization's annual conference. While here, we took the opportunity to shop for a few things that can't be found where we live. Like cheese (yum!) and butter. It is interesting what is easily available and what can be hard to find. For example, Nutella and other chocolate-hazelnut spreads are pretty common while index cards are impossible to find. While perusing the aisles in one of the nicest stores in the city we found white school glue for about $12 a bottle and a set of socket wrenches for $300! We skipped those items and bought 6 pounds of cheddar cheese instead! That should last us a few months AND i even found some blue cheese!!!! (and it wasn't much more expensive than in the US). I think the good cheese selection is a result of the French influence/history here. We probably won't be back in the big city for several months, but it's nice to know that blue cheese is only a 12 hour drive away!

Blue cheese! You must have been so excited Tab! Maybe feeding Luke some cheese can "fatten" him up. You could make a pizza!
YUM!!! Hoping to find some good melting cheese soon. But we're really enjoying the yummy cheese and chocolate here! :)
